Illustration for What 14 RV detailers charge per foot

Fourteen per-foot RV rates, cheapest first

A wash-only rate and a wash-and-wax rate are different jobs, so read the middle column before the price. Names sit in the table because these are the businesses’ own published lists.

What the per-foot rate leaves out

Every rate in the table buys the outside, and the lists draw the edges of “outside” differently.

We also left one number out of the table: a $3-a-foot “303 Wash and Seal” booster on the $8 list. It’s a sealer applied after a wash, not a detail by itself.

What moves the per-foot number

A 30-foot fifth wheel, priced out

Take any rate in the table and multiply by 30 feet:

  • wash only at $8: 30 × $8 = $240
  • wash and wax at $10: 30 × $10 = $300
  • wash and wax at $20: 30 × $20 = $600
  • exterior buff and seal at $25: 30 × $25 = $750

The Tri-Cities list prints the same sum on its own page: a 30-foot RV at $300 and up. And on the list that adds $3 a foot for fifth wheels, its $15 rate becomes (15 + 3) × 30 = $540. For a 25-foot travel trailer at $10 a foot, figure 25 × $10 = $250; for a 40-foot Class A at $20, 40 × $20 = $800, before any roof, oxidation or interior line.
